BIO of FREDERICK L. HARGROVE
Frederick L. Hargrove is President, CEO and founder of Contract Infinity Group, LLC (CIG), a government contracting consulting firm specializing in securing contracts for companies. CIG was founded in 2006, and with clients across the United States, CIG provides consulting solutions to companies seeking to sell their commercial products and services to federal, state, and local governments.
A seasoned federal procurement and contract expert, Mr. Hargrove worked for the General Services Administration (GSA) for eighteen years. As a former GSA Contracting Officer, Mr. Hargrove was responsible for developing, administering, and awarding multi-million dollar contracts. While at GSA, he received the Regional Administrator award for excellence in government contracting for three consecutive years.
For several years, Mr. Hargrove lectured at the Economic Development and Training Institute in Camp Springs, Maryland. He has taught workshops for the Maryland Small Business Development Center. Mr. Hargrove served as a panelist with the Congressional Black Caucus during its Annual Legislative Conference. He has also participated in numerous small business and procurement conferences as a presenter. Mr. Hargrove has established relationships with both government and industry.
In 2009, Contract Infinity Group was nominated for the Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Awards. Mr. Hargrove received an award from the Prince Georges County Council in 2011 for providing education and assistance to small and minority businesses.
Mr. Hargrove is a self-published author currently working on his third book entitled “In Pursuit of a Government Contract: How to sell your products and services to the Federal Government”. Mr. Hargrove earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia. He also attended Northeastern University Graduate School of Public Administration located in Boston.
